After many years living on the west coast, Genelle recently moved back to her hometown in the prairies because something major was missing from her life: the supportive and tight-knit community of people that Edmonton is known for. With a background in hospitality and customer service, combined with a 200RYT yoga certification, taking care of people has always proven to be her top priority… it’s a no-brainer she immediately felt right at home with the service-oriented group at Schmidt!

Making the switch to residential real estate was a natural progression for Genelle as she recalls her days as a child cycling around her west end neighbourhood, ringing the doors of her favourite houses, and asking for a peek inside. Genelle is proud to be a part of the growing downtown community, where she resides with her partner James and their golden retriever Karl.

When she’s not working, walking in the river valley with her family, or trying new restaurants downtown, Genelle expresses her creativity and passion for sustainable design through her upcycled clothing company called cu+ up cotton. Genelle looks forward to sharing her love of architecture, design and the city of Edmonton!
